My application is filed with Texas Service Centre.
Forgot to mention, my attorney did state that their office received an approval 2 weeks back whose priority date was not even close to current. She did not share the specifics.
I just checked my online status and it doesnt have any updates since 2007, states its received and pending... Not sure how current is the online info.

If the USCSI didnt have enough applications to be assigned the VISA , then why are they so conservative in making the cutoff dates move ahead. What is the harm in pro-actively moving the cutiff dates, to amek sure no visa gets wasted.
A cut-off date avoids submission of AOS applications with PD after cut-off date. In my opinion, this was the only reason to retrogress on July 2: avoid AOS submission whose PDs became current in July.
Now nearly all AOS applications have been submitted. Hence, setting cut-off dates conservatively is not that motivating.

Some food for thought.
As I understand we (i.e IV) has 21000 members and 14000 active members. If even each active member contrubute $ 20 per month, that would be $ 420,000 per month or about $ 5 Mn per year.
Imagine the miracles that we can do with that kind of fund!! And I am damn sure that we can afford $ 20 per month. Cost of few gallons of gas per month.
Non contributing, active members! Please wake up atleast now and do some soul searching!!!

I just spoke to a lady at USCIS and she told me they just started working on case receipts for July 2nd and onwards so in next couple of weeks most of you who filed in first week of july should see their receipts..this is what she told me and she sounded very authentic..

Guys, My PD is Aug 02 and I am still waiting for my LC approval :mad: i know a lot of guys in 2001 havent got their approval yet.

My labor (PD 8/20/2004 EB3 from VA) has been certified on 5/14/2007 and last week received the certified docs.

Pappu - it is good to know that we are using the current mass media in this techie country (actually world...should say). Anything "Open" would yield good results.

You should discuss the risks involved in concurrent filing with your lawyer too. In some circumstances if I140 is likely to face hurdles, you should wait for your I140 approval. This is just a caution. Each case is different.
