With a newborn at home, this was a crucial decision for me, if I used EAD (with same employer) I could work minimum hours like 10-20 hours a week. I just wanted to be sure that at the time of GC processing, my less hours worked shd not be taken as an objection.

WASHINGTON -- The government did an about-face Tuesday and announced it is accepting applications for green cards filed by skilled immigrant workers.
Citizenship and Immigration Services, a division of the Homeland Security Department, said in a news release it will accept the applications through Aug. 17. Applications already filed, which the agency planned to reject, also will be accepted.

Hi guys,
I am new to WPF. Pls help me in this.
I want to dynamically load any .xaml file which had 3D object. Now I am selecting one sample .xaml file using opendialog box. I rendered the Content to the window. Now I am able to do Zoom and Pan. But I am unable to do rotation.
Pls help me in this.

My 140 was filed for a future Team lead position. I am currently a Sr Sw Engg with the same employer. The job description is nearly the same. But I am not sure how this little quirk effects my AC21 eligibility. When does my 180 day start counting ? From filing date or from the date I get the Team lead title ?

Consider a consultant-only company where all employee work on client projects and all got EAD and can change employer anytime they want. What happens if everyone leave the company after 180 days and you (and few other) still continue. As this will have great impact on company balance sheet how this may effect final GC approval of those still continue? Most of us will have to wait 3-4 years before we get GC approved. Can it cause any problem or RFE? Or I-140 approval must be enough to show that employer is able to support the employee after GC approval. Just a thought.

The big news is that the masters cap was hit as of December 24th. I had been predicting since last summer that this 20,000 quota would be hit in the last week of the year and the pace of usage stayed extremely consistent. The general quota has 7,700 visas of 65,000 remaining as of December 31st and the rolling four week average is now running at just over 1500. My friend John Lamb in Nashville blogs today about ICE's Hutto detention center where whole families are jailed while awaiting deportation. I'm reminded of Charles Dickens' tales of debtors prisons in Victorian England where "lawbreakers" who violated British laws relating to debt were jailed right along with their spouses and children. It's hard for me to tell the difference. I don't know that I blame CCA, the contractor that runs the center. Nor do I necessarily blame ICE which is simply carrying out their mission. Hi,
I applied for EAD renewal to Nebraska center on Dec 12th.
So far I didn't received the receipt and also my check didn't get cashed.
Did anybody encounter similar situation. If so please let me know what you have done.

I am starting this thread for the people who are Greencard Holders and not married. Please share some thoughts for bringing their spouse here.
IV can help in this matter.
If all visa holders and citizens can bring their spouse instantly then why GC holder have to wait for many years after getting GC after many years.
