Yesterday Congressman Joe Wilson talked to reporters about his claim that the President was lying about immigrants having access to health care subsidies under the President's health care plan. According to the NY Times: �I�m for immigration,� [Wilson] said, adding that he had been an immigration lawyer, although he did not specify exactly what he had done. �But people who come toour country and violated our laws, we should not be providing full services.� It struck me immediately that this would be bizarre if true. This is a massive drop. May piss a few "Recent" buyers off but it will sure make any new ones happy. If you're on a Nikon set of gear you're going to be getting excellent new ones for the same price (almost) as a 20D... Amazing.

Expression Blend can be used if you are creating an application that uses XAML for the visuals such as one created in WPF or Silverlight. The logic can be done in C#. Therefore, the answer to your question is "BOTH - if you are planning on building your application in WPF or Silverlight".

I have an H1B approval from USCIS, and I am trying to go to Canada for the initial visa stamping. But then i have a problem. I initially entered the country as a visitor, and married a citizen, but only after my I-94 had expired for about a week. (My petition is still pending. The company I am working for could not wait for my greencard, since its already been years since I started that process, so they went ahead and applied for the H1B visa for me). I heard that it is a problem to do the visa stamping in Canada if you have been out of status before. Is it advisable to go to Canada for the visa stamping?

1) If A# is not available so we need to populate it with I-94# ? I got
this weird idea from Point 10 of I-765 form where it says A# or I-94#
Of course in other places it just asks A# ( specially in I-131 form)
2) For I-131 there are lot of doubts - want to double check
a) Class of Admission - ?
b) A# is the very first Information sought !!
c) Date of Intended Departure and Expected length of Trip
d) For how many Trips you intend to use
3) In G-325A Bigraphic form also at the end - it again asks for
ALIEN REGISTRATION NUMBER - what is the that ??

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) suggested Thursday that lawmakers may need to stay until Christmas to finish their must-pass bills.
His comments underscored that one of Congress�s most stubborn bipartisan traditions � the unattainable adjournment date � may again stand the test of time.
According to the current House calendar, the first session will end Oct. 26, giving lawmakers plenty of time to go back to their districts to talk about the session�s successes or failures, depending on their party.
In reality, Congress rarely adjourns before November, oftentimes staying through December to complete the �people�s work� � appropriations bills � before members head home for the year.
Reid said he hoped that the Senate would not stay until Christmas because of the lingering appropriations battle, but he didn�t rule it out. In July, Reid set the target date at Nov. 16, but was less than confident that the goal would be met even at that point.
Reid added he has spent a lot of time negotiating the appropriations process with House Appropriations Chairman David Obey (D-Wis.) as well as the new chief of the Office of Management and Budget, Jim Nussle.
Reid called the difference between the White House budget request and the pending appropriations bills � $21 billion � �a very small amount.� The White House has threatened to veto any spending bill that exceeds its request.
�It�s not as if we are trying to spend this money� on brand-new programs, he said, noting that the funding would go toward law enforcement programs, healthcare and education.
�I don�t want a headache, I want to try to work this out,� Reid said.
He added, however, that the going might be tough, blaming Bush�s �unusual� way of negotiating. �It�s his way or no way.�
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) was slightly more optimistic, explaining that House lawmakers have opted to work the week of Columbus Day rather than taking it off like their Senate colleagues.
�We have work to do, and we�re going to [do] it,� Hoyer said. �We are hopeful to certainly get out � we scheduled October 26th as the date to adjourn.�
He added: �I would be unrealistic if I told you that I thought October 26th was a hard date at best.�
House Republicans blamed the inability to meet the deadline on what they described as a light work schedule of early votes and adjournment.
�I think Democrats are coming to the realization that fewer post offices need naming than they had previously thought. It was a fundamental miscalculation on their part,� quipped Amos Snead, a spokesman for Minority Whip Roy Blunt (R-Mo.).
A House GOP aide added: �This majority couldn�t hit the broad side of a barn with a beach ball from point-blank, no less a target adjournment date when not a single spending bill has arrived on the president�s desk to date.
�Having said that, we�re heading for the biggest omnibus in history, and we�ll see it around the time kids start looking for Santa,� the aide added.
In July 2006, then-Majority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) proposed abolishing adjournment dates, citing the fact that they are never met on time and are arbitrary at best.
�It means nothing,� Boehner told reporters at the time. �You all know it means nothing because it really does mean nothing. Anyway, there is no reason to have a target adjournment on the schedule.�

I work for company A which sponsored my L1B (my current visa status). Also, few years back company B sponsored my H1B which for some reason I did not utilize (did not even get it stamped) and hence company B cancelled it. Now my questions are -
1. Can L1-B be transferred to H1-B without going through a new visa application?
2. Can the cancelled H1-B be re-instated and utilized?
3. If another company C applies for my H1-B what are the chances of getting it looking at the current work visa regulations and prospective changes? Will my past petition of H1-B cause some issues with consulate?
4. My wife is on L2 and as EAD. Once I file for change of status will the EAD still be valid or it will automatically be void?
Please Help...

Still not too late to apply for an H-1B (http://www.fongandchun.com/lawyer-attorney-1477281.html). New H-1B quota figures as of September 10, 2010:
Out of the 65,000 cases that can be approved for H-1B this year, 37,400 cases have been receipted by USCIS for the regular Bachelor's degree H-1B quota. This is up from 36,600 cases which were received since September 3, 2010.
Approximately 13,700 cases have been receipted by USCIS for the advanced degree H-1B quota, a slight increase of about 300 cases filed since September 3, 2010 when approximately 13,400 cases had been received.
October 1, 2010 is around the corner. People with newly approved H-1Bs will soon be able to begin employment. First time applicants can still continue to submit applications for H-1B status until the entire H-1B quota is exhausted. I'll keep you updated on the cap count, so check back soon. ---ecf

Go ahead. By the time labor and I-140 gets approved, it could be close to two years based on current processing rate. At that time you will have a much better picture and can decide whether to file the I-485 or not. If the employer is willing to sponsor, why not?

I got my labor and 140 cleared few months back under EB3, Can I apply for 765 to get my EAD ?
