Wow! Good for you! So when did you apply for your I-485? Please let us know the details so we can compare it with our situation. My husband is EB3 as well with PD Feb 2005 (Philippines). Thanks!

i had run these numbers a while back. for sure EB2 will reach the end of 2005 this year. i just hope its done systematically so that they clear everybody with an EB2 2005 PD this year.
I have a different question. My PD is Dec 2005 but my 485 was filed in August 2005. Do you think they will approve (or work) on my 485 once my PD is current or will they wait for the US CIS processing time to move to August 2008 (which I don't think for India will happen anytime soon).

It is still optimistic my freind. As one of our member pointed out, realstic number would be around 600K, which implies 16 months wait for some people. Also , we do not know the level of work force at USCIS engaged in processing EAD. It could be 10, it could be 100. More the better but it we it is fewer than we are doomed.
I think USCIS will hire contractors to take care of this shit like DOL does. EAD and AP is the most easy to process. Very less dependencies.

I am sad to see people posting messages on inevitable future of CIR, US political system is broken. But they dont consider it important to contact their senators and follow IVs instructions on making phone calls. Please understand the need of the hour and dont waste time in making judgments or making predictions. Just follow what IV core is asking you to do.
Just call, call and call. I am starting my second round of calls.

Given the current market conditions,I dont think there will be a lot of new EB1,EB-2 ROW filings.Given that EB1 and EB2 ROW are current, there will be considerable overflow to EB2 I and C.The chances are very good that EB2 I and C will move faster than it moved late last year and early this year.April 2009 quarter opens new Visa Numbers too,If EB2 ROW and EB1 are slowed because of economy then certainly there should be some additional visa numbers available for EB2 I and C.At this stage it depends on PERM EB2 ROW data.

Trust me, my friend - I surely believe in systematic movement and by this june/july it will be Dec05 or beyond. Dates for EB2 have stayed around apr04 for really longer and then suddenly to 06. Very few perms were cleared in 05 (as per your posting). It should logivcally be past 2005 , never to go back.BTW ,we missed GC last aug/sept lotto

I don't understand why EB3-I is a lost cause. Isn't the percentage distribution for the various categories taken into account? I don;t think I understand how the percentage distrubution works probably. Can anyone please explain?
India and China get most of their share through not only the allocated %age but also through the spillover from ROW. Since there is less spillover from ROW for EB-3, the amount of visa for EB-3I is less.

employer can withdraw the 140 any time before the approval of 485 - there is no time limit.
That is right. But one MUST NOT worry about it as long as they have a job in hand with same or similar duties. Things to watch out are
(1) AC21 letter
(2) G28 properly filed
(3) NOID
(4) Denial - happened in some cases and reopened through MTR
Now even if your old employer did not revoke 140 you may get an RFE.

Thanx for the reply! In your opinion, do we still have a chanse to see relief for schedule"A" this year? From my point of view, the chanses are slim. Maybe I am too pesimistic....

We are being funded and we have a great member base.
Why does the line on top of this page say
****
Goal amount for this month: 10000 USD, Received: 0 USD (0%)
****
I guess, last month is about $2500, and previous month is less than $2K.
Any plans in your mind how to get every member pay $1 every month?

:D I am with you. But [QUOTE=gaz;287130] These also coincide with the centers of tremendous progress and huge purchase power for people. Huge purchasing power of people in india? Please read analysis on page 4. Their PPP is just $3300. GDP is between $700 jump to $2500
Smaller cities also have a hike in prices but nothing comparable. So the average Indian does not really get affected a lot. The average city dweller is either renting by paying a ton of money or is spending a ton of money for a house. Scary thing is either ways they are able to afford it. :D:D:D High rent and High living cost is the effect on average folks
Makes the US salary seem meaningless in comparison(comparing quality of life here and not just money). I am not convinced about this. Actually infrastructure setup in US is way beyond what we can expect in India. That adds to quality of life to great extent.
